Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel

Good selection and variety, welcoming and polite staff. Reception went the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. Very neat and tidy, tables cleared very quickly and reset. Room was clean and tidy although a little concerned when we spotted some damage to drawer front. Needed to request net curtains to ensure some privacy. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. My wife, who is very particular, loved to house shampoo and conditioner, good quality.

Renovations to the bathrooms were lovely. The shower floor needs rubber strips to avoid slipping. Otherwise set up is wonderful. INSTRUCTIONS on how to use the coffee machine would have been helpful I put a full bottle of water in and it was TOO much, made an unnecessary mess. View was wonderful, located far enough from street to hear noise and low enough from roof not to hear the night club. Paul and Miriam were STELLAR and made any issues I had negligible, They were eager to help, and it is appreciated. Whilst here, took advantage of a great Burger Pop Up by @Gothamburgersocialclub, caught a terrific Pub meal around the corner from the hotel @JJKinahans and took a short cab ride for the BEST Lobster roll in town at @PearlsOysterBar in the West Village!

Staff was great, property felt newly renovated, and it is in the best part of town. The resort fee actually includes great perks which made our trip even better. The hotel even left us champagne and treats for my husbands birthday. The entire staff from the moment we walked in were top notch.

Breakfast was included as part of the hotel daily charge. It was really basic buffet style, good but not great. I wouldnt have paid extra for what they offer.
